What is Microblading?
Microblading is the artistic technique of tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade. Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists hand draw each hair to match the color and coarseness of your eyebrows. The result? Gorgeous, natural looking eyebrows.
How long does it last?
Microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 2 years for most people, before it usually needs a touch up.
Does it hurt?
Most clients report little or no pain! We use a topical anesthetic before the procedure to numb the affected area.
How long is the appointment?
It usually takes 2 hours, with most of the time spent going over colors and drawing eyebrow shapes. The microblading portion lasts 30-45 minutes.
How do I book for an appointment?
We book 1 month out, the schedule opens on the 15th of every month for the following month at 10am. Slots fill very quickly, please set a reminder! We do not have a waitlist, all appointments are on a first come basis only.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Before your appointment, we highly encourage our clients to check our Instagram and “shop” for eyebrows on our feed. Eyebrows come in many shapes and styles, from feathered to bold, arched to straight. We will work with you to customize your best brows. In the week before your appointment, avoid blood thinners, aspirin, alcohol or using retinol creams. Please do not tweeze or wax your eyebrows for a minimum of 6wks before your scheduled appointment. Also PLEASE come to your appointment with foundation and mascara on, and no eyeshadow or eyeliner. If you know you bleed easily, we recommend taking Vitamin K orally at least 2 weeks before treatment. Botox must be done 2 weeks before. Please do not drink any alcohol the evening before treatment as this will effect retention of ink and make you bleed. Also no coffee, energy drinks the morning of treatment. Also, please refrain from fragrance, parfumes, and scented lotions!
